1. Acceptance

By installing or using Pro Video Downloader (the "Tool"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Tool.

2. What the Tool does

The Tool is a Chrome extension that detects videos on the page you are viewing and lets you download them to your computer. It only reuses the signed-in session you already have in your browser. It does not circumvent digital rights management (DRM) and does not solve website verification challenges for you.

3. Your responsibilities

• Only download content you have the right to keep, such as your own uploads, content licensed to you by the rights holder, or content the website explicitly allows you to download.
• Comply with the laws where you live, including copyright law, and with each website's own terms of use.
• You are solely responsible for the legality of anything you download with the Tool and for how you use it.

4. Free plan and Premium

• The free plan has usage limits (currently 3 HLS stream downloads per day). These limits may change and will be described in the Tool or on its store page.
• Premium is available as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment and license keys are handled by Gumroad, which also issues receipts.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time; Premium features remain available until the end of the paid period.
• "Lifetime" means you can use Premium features without further payment for as long as the Tool continues to be offered.
• Refunds: you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, using the contact details below or your Gumroad receipt. The license key stops working after a refund.
• Each license key can be activated up to 3 times (a new computer or reinstall counts as one); email us to have it reset if you run out. License keys are for the purchaser's personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or published.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• distribute, resell, or publish modified or cracked versions of the Tool, or ways to bypass its payment system;
• share, resell, or publish your license key;
• use the Tool for illegal activity or to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.

If you break these rules, we may disable the related license key without a refund.

6. No warranty

The Tool is provided "as is". Websites change at any time, so we do not guarantee that the Tool will work on any particular website, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain and update it, but we do not promise specific compatibility.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Tool (including data loss, corrupted files, or account suspension by a website). Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date on this page and, for significant changes, give notice in the Tool or on its store page. Continuing to use the Tool after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the Taiwan Taipei District Court has jurisdiction as the court of first instance. Where the consumer protection laws of your country give you more protection, those laws apply.
